Finally!

For a while it seemed like this whole thing was never going to happen - but it finally is!  The hold-up was due to the Chinese government changing visa rules - before you could go on a visitor visa and switch to a working visa, but now they require you to have the work visa before entering the country.  However, it has finally been approved, and should arrive tomorrow (hopefully) or Wednesday.  Add two days for processing at the Chinese consulate here and I'm off!  I don't have a flight booked yet, but it could be as soon as Friday.

Luckily for me, I've been working on my packing, all thanks to Sarah coming over and bossing me around (really, I needed it).  All that's left are a few errands, and to finish packing (clothing, carry on, etc).  I really should weigh my bags before I finish packing to see where I'm at (there's a 23kg limit) and if I need to take anything out.
